College Canteen

In any college Canteen holds a very important place. This is the place which is important not only for food but for making some of the best memories of college life.
With the strength of more than 6000 girl students Government Meera Girls College is known as the largest girls government college in the State for female education. Such large strength of students comes from rural background mostly. College is having 2800 (approximate) tribal girl students. Canteen facility for all students is the biggest asset. The purpose of the canteen is threefold–to provide a healthy refreshment, to complement classroom and educational experiences and as an employment opportunity to vendor.
Canteen provide food and R.O. water facilities for both students and teachers. Tea, Coffee, refreshments like poha, idli sambhar along with biscuits and wafers are available in the canteen at a very reasonable rate. Canteen starts from morning with fresh and hygienic refreshments. There is separate sitting facility for both faculty and students. Canteen Committee members of the college check regularly its maintenance and quality of food items in the canteen.
