Research Activities
Research, Innovation and Extension activities are the linchpin of higher education institutions. The meticulously designed research policy commensurates with the vision of the college to become viable in the era of globalization with social and national commitment. The institution has 71 registered Research supervisors. 72 scholars have been awarded Ph. D degree and more than 212 research scholars are enrolled and pursuing Ph. D under them. We have 6 Minor UGC Research Projects approved and completed in the post Cycle II accreditation period. The prioritized research areas of the college are tribal and gender issues, socio- economic development, environmental issues, food and nutrition, photochemistry, agriculture and industrial development, ethnobotany, faunal biodiversity, light pollution, etc., contributing enormously towards lab to land applications. Interdisciplinary nature of research accomplishments has wider social efficacy, relevance and ramification. An impressive record of 420 research articles published in UGC-CARE listed Journals/ national/international/ peer reviewed journals with ISSN number, 183 chapters/ books/papers in conference proceedings (with ISBN) are to the credit of the faculty.
