Government Meera Girls College Library was established in 1956. The college library is a well-stocked library with a collection of more than fifty eight thousand book titles on different disciplines to cater all educational needs of faculty members, students and staff. For maximum utilization of the library, the Library committee strategically sketch/draft the smooth functioning of the library. Departmental In-charge with a consultation with the faculties provides a list of books to the library committee for purchase.
The library follows an open access system and maintains Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) to provide easy access to the shelves. The library provides access to e-journals, e-books and online databases through e-resources subscribed by Delhi University Library System. It is also a member of N-LIST (INFLIBNET program) to provide access to e-resources to the users. N-LIST (INFLIBNET program) can be accessed using https://nlistidp.inflibnet.ac.in
The library is partially computerized, uses the library management software (LMS) E-Library web-centric software. The library collection is accessible through a WEB-OPAC. In addition to the college library, students are also offered the facility of departmental libraries for quick and easy access to books.
