Meera Science and Spiritual Club Report 2020-21
Meera science and spiritual club organized heart full meditation workshop a six day meditation practical training session from 29 September 2020 to 27 September 2020 in which faculty members of the college participated. The program was on virtual platform via Google meet. Dr K K Saxena ex professor IIT Kanpur and hfn trainer and Dr Rakesh dashora centre coordinator and HFn trainer delivered lectures and practical training on facing of uncertainty – relaxation and meditation, rejuvenation – meditation and inner connect – prayer and meditation. Dr Saxena told that Meditation is the tool for combating the menace of stress and guarantees a balance in life. They presented the four integrated steps of heartfulness meditation, Relaxation that is putting the entire body at rest in peace, Heartfulness meditation is a practice entails the practitioner to dive deeper into the mind, penetrate the cause of moods and feelings, cleaning and Inner connect and prayer.
Dr Anjali Anand gave information about Heartful Eating. She discussed about healthy eating habits and gave emphasis on balance diet. Dr Rita Nagpal pediatrician and HFN trainer delivered lecture on acceptance on spiritual path. Acceptance of realty life is achieved through meditation. The person doesn’t have any regrets in life though he suffers from pain loss and injustice. He has full control our his reaction which stem from ego. He over looks them and doesn’t have any disappointment. leading to emotional stability in life.
And Dr Neeraj Mishra professor Track – Indian railway civil engineering institute Pune and HFN trainer delivered lecture on heartful communication and sleeping habits. He shared the techniques of good communications and how to have a good sleep. He also discussed the sleeping disorders and recommended sleeping tips l Inspired by the workshop 20 faculty members took the membership of heartfulness mission.
Meera Science and Spiritual Club Report 2019-20
Meera science and spiritual club was initiated in government Meera girls College Udaipur to help students to cope with feelings of stress, depression, anxiety and to restore hope and optimism. During the session 2019-20 yoga and meditation programs organized in collaboration with national service scheme.
Throughout the session the students contacted Dr Rakesh Dashora for their individual health problems like migraine backache weakness etc. He treated the students through acupressure yoga and heartfulness meditation. Three sessions of meditation were organized which helped students to release their tensions and stress, depression, anxiety through relaxation, meditation and cleaning techniques of heartful meditation.
