Research Consultancy and Extension activities are the linchpins of higher education institutions. The meticulously designed research policy commensurates with the vision of the college to become viable in the era of globalization with social and national commitment. The institution has 66 registered research supervisors, under whom 82 scholars have been awarded PhD degree and more than 153 research scholars are enrolled and pursuing doctoral degree. We have 2 major UGC Research Projects completed and 5 Minor UGC Research Projects approved and completed in the post Cycle II accreditation period. The prioritized research areas of the college are tribal and gender issues, contributing enormously towards the lab to land applications. The interdisciplinary nature of research accomplishments has wider social efficacy, relevance and ramification. An impressive record of 228 publications in national/international/peer-reviewed journals with ISBN including 109 research articles in UGC notified Journals and edited books and chapters in different books to the credit of the faculty.
The participation/presentation of teachers in national/international seminars, conferences and workshops are remarkable reaching a figure of 1075, and more than 150 webinars have been attended by the faculty. Our faculty members hold prestigious positions in multifarious professional bodies and are members of editorial boards.
